The 2027 Valley Youth Hockey Association 14U Winter Invitational will feature one four-team division. Each team will play three round-robin games before advancing to either the championship or consolation game.
Every team is guaranteed four games, giving players a full weekend of meaningful and competitive hockey.
Tournament Format
- One 14U division
- Four participating teams
- Four guaranteed games
- Three-game round robin
- Championship Game: 1st place vs. 2nd place
- Consolation Game: 3rd place vs. 4th place
- USA Hockey-sanctioned tournament
- Certified USA Hockey officials
Weekend Schedule
Friday, January 15
Optional Syracuse Crunch team night.
Saturday, January 16
Team check-in and round-robin games.
Sunday, January 17
Final round-robin games, consolation game, championship game, and postgame awards.
Discounted Syracuse Crunch Tickets
Players, coaches, families, and friends will have the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets to the Syracuse Crunch game on Friday, January 15, the night before tournament play begins.
It is a great way for teams to begin the weekend together while enjoying professional hockey in downtown Syracuse. Ticket-ordering information will be provided to registered teams.
