Welcome! Thank you for your interest in coaching with the Valley Youth Hockey Association. Valley Youth Hockey follows the USA Hockey American Development Model (ADM), with a strong emphasis on age-appropriate skill development, long-term athlete growth, and creating a positive, fun environment where players can thrive.

This form is intended for individuals interested in serving as a coach for a Valley Eagles team. Our coaches play a critical role in implementing ADM principles by focusing on teaching fundamental skills, encouraging creativity, promoting sportsmanship, and supporting each player’s individual development.

I accept responsibility for my own behavior and for the conduct of my assistant coaches, managers, players, and parents associated with my team. I acknowledge that all coaching positions are appointed by the Valley Youth Hockey Association Board of Directors and are at-will. I further understand that any inappropriate behavior by members of my staff or me may result in disciplinary action, including removal from my coaching position, at the discretion of the Board of Directors if it is determined to be in the best interests of the Valley Youth Hockey Association and its members.
